this Netflix movie is based on true events and the movie is about a shelter dog who is a street dog who can’t get adopted ruby who is incapable to be adopted because she was street dog and untrained and a state trooper Daniel O’Neil (Grant Gustin). who has a dream to be on the K-9 unit but he has trouble staying clam and focused and He thought that he needs a German Shepherd but he ends up adopting ruby. however they do hit a few bumps in the road but when he was about to give up on ruby he couldn’t go though it and brings her back home. he also trains ruby to become a rescue dog. however when after two try’s of get into the class to join the K-9 unit they both finally got in and when ruby search’s for a girl however ruby didn’t find her but later we find out that Daniel didn’t trust his dog enough. because Daniel was verbally disappointed and ruby had ran off. Daniel went looking for ruby when he got a call that a boy went missing. he finally finds ruby and they went to search for the boy who went missing however ruby and Daniel found that boy who happens to be the son of the volunteer who worked at the shelter that ruby was at. i would say that this movie didn’t just make me wanna cry but it was an amazing movie and it will tug at your heart strings. but you might want boxes of tissue next to you.
